Laminates / Veneers

Laminates are thin covers made out of special translucent ceramic with a thickness of 0.5 mm. Laminates coat the teeth like a second skin. Usually we do not have to file the teeth. Laminates are recommended for discolorations, incisal edge reconstruction, reshaping, or permanently whiter teeth.

Veneers are made of the same material as laminates, they are usually just slightly thicker and more opaque. Because of the thickness we can correct the shape and malocclusion of teeth to produce a more beautiful appearance.

In this case, the left middle upper front tooth was underdeveloped and the lateral tooth moved into its position. We reshaped the tooth to form a middle incisor with a minimum of effort, using veneers.
